How To Use This Module

Visualize a countdown to an important event. This Module can have smart content for before the event, during the event and after the event

Use Cases

Event Date Configuration

Set event start date/time (required) and optional end date/time. Choose from 25 timezone options (GMT-12 to GMT+12) or use "None" for timezone-agnostic countdowns (e.g., New Year's).

Three Content States

Each state supports different content:

  • Before Event: Header, tagline, top description, and live countdown timer
  • During Event: Tagline, top description, and launch message (requires end date)
  • After Event: Tagline and expiration CTA

Countdown Display

Live countdown with days, hours, minutes, and seconds. Includes screen reader announcements for accessibility and decorative labels for each time unit.

Internationalization

Fully localized labels for 6 languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, and Portuguese. Time unit labels automatically translate based on page language.

Guidelines

Character Count

  • Recommended character limit for the Tagline is 30
  • A maximum of ~30 characters and 2 text lines is recommended for the Launch Message

Variations

  • Add content for During and After the event to make sure your page keeps providing value even after the countdown has ended

Things to Know

  • Make sure to add an expiration CTA to provide value to visitors who missed the event!
  • The date-words, Days/Hours/Minutes/Seconds, are automatically translated depending on the page locale
